There has never been a term which has inspired more anger, hatred, and unbridled rage than 'game night'. However, showing true courage, Geek Salad is venturing into the realm of board games with episode 96: Terror Through the Lollipop Forest! Now I know everyone seems to remember board games fondly, but there are few other objects that destroy relationships, are rather perverse, and are only occasionally fun. So join Andy, both Mikes, Jim, and Joe as they bask in the joy and nostalgia.
After that, the guys discuss the qualities of the new Fantastic Four casting (as well as going off on a tangent about Maguire Spider-Man vs Garfield Spider-Man), review the new Maleficent and Godzilla trailers, and then shill evrything from TV shows to internet programs. Tons of fun all around!

30 years ago, a series of movies that were released that still resonate with the Geek public today. 30 years ago, we introduced the world to bananas in tailpipes, ritual heart removal, unlicensed/untested nuclear accelerators, and the PG-13 rating. Now, the team of Andy and Mike G (along with special guests Joe and Autumn) parse the spectrum of the best movie year of the 80's. Join in as they discuss (again) Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Dune, and Star Trek III, as well as new (old) favorites like Amadeus, Beverly Hills Cop, and, of course, Ghostbusters.
Then stick around for the Geek Salad review of The Guardians of the Galaxy trailer, and some shills involving books, video games, the WWE Network, and a new musical about the EnglishShipBuilding industry in the 1960's!

The Geek Salad crew unite, get pumped up, and head to the local toy store to buy some Tag Team Champion belts! Yes, it's Geek Salad episode 94: Oh You Didn't Know?!? Join the unmatched team of Andy, Jim, and Mike G as they tackle the topic of the greatest... and not so greatest... tag teams of the WWE, WCW, TNA, and every other TV wrestling acronym. From the Fabulous Freebirds to the SHIELD, no team is out of contention.
Afterwards, recurring Geek Salad villain, Michael Bay, once again graces Stupid Stupid. Fortunately, Trailer Park helps to brighten the day with the awesomeness that is Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Then Salad Shills rounds everything up with some Lego love, Neverwinter fun, and some YouTube chuckles.

(for Stitcher and iTunes users....due to issues with posting the episode, we're reposting...just for you!)
Imagine, if you will, you are
stranded on a desert island. Your sanity
is only held in check by the 5 CDs that you’ve chosen to bring with you to live
out your life with. So what would they
be?
Jim, Andy, and Mike took the question, first to their Twitter and Facebook audience, then, to Mike C. and Adam, who couldn’t make it record. Then, they roundtable their 5 top CDs (and another 5 that came close) with discussions about College Alt Rock, Classic Rock, Country, and Charlie Daniels’ ability to appear during bar fights!
Then hang out for the Segments, when Michael McDonald reviews his Top 5 Desert Island CDs, a Stupid Stupid regarding Dino Porn, and a rundown of the trailer of “Thor: The Dark World,” and a run down of the first few weeks of “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” in the Salad Shills!

Pack your bags and gas up the station wagon, cause Geek Salad is ready for a nice road trip... movie, with episode 87: Those Aren't Pillows! Join Andy, Mike G, Jim, and Adam as they chat about some of their favorite road trip movies. From Cannonball Run to Zombieland, the crew talks about some of their favorite moments, and others that weren't so wonderful.
Then hang out afterwards for a spirited discussion on the whole 'Batfleck' affair (seriously, has no one seen Argo?). We then wrap things up with some 30 Rock love, Avenged Sevenfold excellence, and Rifftrax hilarity in Salad Shills.

When you woke up this morning, did you think you were going to get treated to a five minute conversation about Ric Ole? Then you’ve come to the right place as the Geek Salad team resumes their conversation on the Star Wars Original Trilogy with Episode 86 (Part 2): How Anakin Got His Groove Back! Check out the gang’s thoughts on the film affectionately known as anything other than it’s given title (“Return of the Jedi”), the best (and worst) toys in the Kenner Star Wars line, and some thoughts about 2015’s JJ Abrahms directed “Episode VII!” Then, segments are back with a two-fer on Trailer Park as the gang discusses “The Worlds’s End” and the season 4 trailer of “The Walking Dead.” Then, Stupid, Stupid discusses the never ending attempt at making a worse video game based movie. Then The Salad Shills is (almost) all about music! And congratulations to Mike Trogolo for winning our Facebook/Twitter contest to name the episode! Your prize is (*snicker*) in the mail!
