On the 12 days of Christmas, the movies I will see... have been voted on by the listeners of Geek Salad, the crew themselves, their friends and family, and anyone else they could badger for votes. But from all those votes came a list of 70+ films. And the top 12 movies get revealed in Geek Salad episode 204: The Night the Reindeer Died!

Whether the movie was solely focused on holiday themes, or took place during the holiday season, people had multiple criteria for what they considered to be a Christmas movie. After 11 years, and more than 20 movies, it’s come time for Geek Salad to put the call out…and for Episode 183, they recap the Top 25 Moments in the MCU Series. The year 1989 ended up being one hell of a year for movies. From Tim Burton's first Batman film to Ghostbusters II, this year really gave us some true gems, as well as some lesser but still memorable hits. And here to go through some of those films is Geek Salad with episode 182: Be Excellent to Batarangs (part 1).

In 1928, Walt Disney created a cartoon mouse which he named Mickey, and in doing so, he changed the world as we know it. Now, 91 years later, Geek Salad is honoring that legacy with episode 176: Goofy's How to Host a Podcast.

From 1979's The Muppet Movie all the way to 2014's Muppets Most Wanted, they discuss all eight theatrically released Muppet films (sorry all you fans of The Muppets' Wizard of Oz... if there are any). Did they truly lose the Muppet magic once Jim Henson died, or was there still some quality to be had? And was Muppets from Space really so bad? You'll have to ask Katherine about that last question, as I don't think any of the others actually bothered to watch it.
