The year 1989 ended up being one hell of a year for movies. From Tim Burton's first Batman film to Ghostbusters II, this year really gave us some true gems, as well as some lesser but still memorable hits. And here to go through some of those films is Geek Salad with episode 182: Be Excellent to Batarangs (part 1).

You'll have to ask Katherine about that last question, as I don't think any of the others actually bothered to watch it.

Most people will agree that Bela Lugosi, Boris Karloff, and Lon Chaney Jr were not Academy Award quality actors. However, no one can doubt that they cemented their place in Hollywood history by bringing to life some of the most iconic movie monsters of all time.
