Starting with Rudolph, the duo of Arthur Rankin and Jules Bass came up with some of the most classic animated specials to ever grace the TV screen. Unfortunately, they also inflicted some of the most confusing, scarring, and just plain hateful moments as well (what the hell is an Awgwa, anyway?)

After that, there's some DC-inspired Stupid Stupid and a retro Trailer Park with "Santa Claus: The Movie". Finally, stick around for some Salad Shills that range everywhere from Doctor Who to commercials from the '70s.

In 1938, two creative young men came up with the idea of an alien from a destroyed planet who becomes one of the greatest superheroes the world has ever known, Superman. 74 years later, their groundbreaking vision has reached its ultimate form in Geek Salad episode 84: The Last Son of Kryptin (aka, Krypton, but as spoken by Marlon Brando). They also tackle his villains (including Lex Luthor's horribly petty reason for hating Superman), his friends, his animal sidekicks, the multiple goofy versions of Kryptonite, and more. The guys even get into a knock-down, drag out fight over the merits of Zack Snyder's Man of Steel and the possibilities for the Justice League movie. Okay, it's more of a fierce debate... okay, more of a friendly debate.
