It's the Muppet Movie show, with our very special guest stars, Geek Salad! YAAAAAYYYYY!
Yes, after far too long without an episode on the Muppets, Geek Salad is rectifying that by going over the movies made my Kermit the Frog and company in Geek Salad episode 173: The Fleem is Okie Dokie.

Did they truly lose the Muppet magic once Jim Henson died, or was there still some quality to be had? And was Muppets from Space really so bad? You'll have to ask Katherine about that last question, as I don't think any of the others actually bothered to watch it.

So you say you have too much free time? Well worry no longer! If you think streaming services are only for catching reruns of The A-Team, then prepare for a lot of knowledge to be coming your way.

Sure, there are the well-known ones like the Marvel series and Stranger Things, but the gang goes more into some shows that are great, but maybe are not as familiar as they should be. We all have TV shows that we absolutely love and go back episode after episode to follow along with the story and characters. However, we all also know of a show that we truly loved, but found it getting stale, dull, and/or just plain stupid the longer it remained on the air. In honor of those shows that refused to quit even after the writing did, Geek Salad presents episode 157: Two and a Half Menengitis.

In 1983, a holiday movie was released that was only a modertate success at the time. However, that film has gone on to become one of the most beloved Christmas movies of all time. In fact, so many people enjoy this film that is has become an annual tradition for it to be played for 24 hours straight on certain cable channels from Christmas Eve to Christmas Day. Yes, this film is Bob Clark's "A Christmas Story", and here in Geek Salad episode 154: The Year We Were Introduced to Chinese Turkey, the Geek Salad gang show their own love for the film by providing a running commentary on it.

We truly live in a golden age of Comic Book movies. Much like the second golden age of comics in the early 1980’s, the Nerd Generation has never had such an embarrassment of riches….
….however, these are not the movies we’re discussing this week. We’ve again taken the votes of the Geek Salad listening audience and compiled the Top 15 Worst Comic Book Based movies of all time! Join Joe, Andy, and Mike as they count down the head-scratchingly awful, the “How could they possibly continue to get Fantastic Four wrong???”, and Joe’s all but giving up on the DCEU…at least it’s getting harder for him to defend it!

Back in 1984, kids had lost interest in most of the toy lines of the day. Then, Hasbro released the Transformers line, and kids now had toys that could be cars, trucks, jets, and guns, as well as kick-ass robots! Now the Geek Salad team of Joe, Andy, and Mike discuss the toy line, as well as the multiple cartoon and comic book series and the 1986 animated movie.
Then, they’ll put their film school nerd caps on to discuss everything wrong with the dumpster fire that is the Michael Bay Transformers series. It’s at this point that Andy will go off on proper character motivation and action sequencing while Joe and Mike bang their heads against the coffee table trying to figure out how, in God’s name, you can screw up the Dinobots!!!!
