Lights! Camera! Action! The boys of Geek Salad are back to discuss to discuss their favorite film directors in Episode 101 "I'm Ready For My Close Up, Mr. Bay!" Join the debate as to what the best movies are from the likes of Guillermo del Torro, Quentin Tarantino, Harold Ramis, Tim Burton, Martin Scorsese, Richard Donner, among a whole bunch of others!
Then join them for a tribute to the late Robin Williams in lieu of the segments, but they do take the time to do a round table of their impressions of "Guardians of the Galaxy!"

After a bit of a break, the Geek Salad crew are back to resume their discussion of the X-Men movies with episode 98, part 2: Days of Dinklage Past. Andy, Mike G, Jim, and Joe have returned to chat about the mixed bag of Wolverine movies, and the wonder of X-Men: First Class. They then go into a (WARNING!) spoiler-laden conversation about the sheer brilliance that is X-Men: Days of Future Past.
Stick around after that for some Stupid Stupid conversations about how David S. Goyer needs to shut up among other things. Lego Batman graces us with his awesome new space-suit in Trailer Park, and the Salad Shills range from YouTube channels and Boston radio to Guardians of the Galaxy and South Park. In 1963, Stan Lee decided to create a new team of superheroes. Unable to come up with a unique way that they all got their powers, though, he just decided that they were just born with their abilities. He grabbed Jack Kirby for the artwork, and behold, the X-Men were born!
Now, 51 years later, they have gained the ultimate honor! They are the subject of not just a Geek Salad episode, but a two-parter! So come join Andy, both Mikes, Jim, and Joe, as they discuss and debate their favorite X-Men comic stories, the pros and cons of the first three X-Men movies, and also have some giggles coming up with the most useless mutant abilities. 30 years ago, a series of movies that were released that still resonate with the Geek public today. 30 years ago, we introduced the world to bananas in tailpipes, ritual heart removal, unlicensed/untested nuclear accelerators, and the PG-13 rating. Now, the team of Andy and Mike G (along with special guests Joe and Autumn) parse the spectrum of the best movie year of the 80's. Join in as they discuss (again) Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Dune, and Star Trek III, as well as new (old) favorites like Amadeus, Beverly Hills Cop, and, of course, Ghostbusters.

First there was Iron Man which kicked off the Marvel movie universe. Now Marvel and Disney have aired the new TV series to continue events started in The Avengers, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Now, if we, the fans, were writing the episodes, what kinds of wacky adventures might Agent Coulson and his band of intrepid adventurers get into? That is the question that Andy, Mike G, and Jim attempt to answer in Geek Salad episode 88: Don't Touch Lola.
The crew take on this task with their usual poise, thoughtfulness, and deep insight. Will Andy bring up the most inadvertently hilarious Marvel superhero, the Whizzer? Will Jim make a DC Cab reference? Will Mike mention the TARDIS? Listen in and see!
