1995 had hundreds of movies released that year. You already have heard Geek Salad cover the top 15 domestic box office winners of the year, but that only covers a small portion of the movies released. So now, the gang is back to cover some of the other more memorable movies from 1995, be they memorable for good reasons, or for not so good reasons.
Andy and Mike are once again joined by Em from the Verbal Diorama Podcast (listen wherever you get your podcasts) and Kurt Smith (check out his reviews on Letterboxd) as they cover both the best picture nominees from that year, as well as some of their personal favorites. Horror is a genre that is well loved by many people. However, there are plenty of other people who do not enjoy the sensation of being scared, and thus they are not really a fan of that genre. Well Geek Salad is back for the month of October to present a few options for those people who have no love for horror movies with episode 260: Baby's First Bone Saw.
Join Andy, Mike (who is definitely NOT a horror fan), Joe, and Katherine as they give some tamer options that might touch on the horror genre while not fully embracing it. Animated movies and TV specials that try to toe the line between family-friendly and horror can be rather hit or miss. There are some really charming ones out there, though. So, to run through some of their favorites (with a few dishonorable mentions thrown in for good measure), the Geek Salad crew is back with Geek Salad episode 241: It's the Headless Horseman, Charlie Brown.
