In the 90s, Disney decided to make their mark on television by creating a 2-hour block of animated shows for kids to watch after they got home from school, and they called this the Disney Afternoon. Now, Geek Salad is going to look back on it with episode 224: "We Don't Talk About Quack Pack".
Join Andy, Mike, Joe, and Katherine as they go over the shows which made up this block of programming over the years, including such classics as DuckTales, Darkwing Duck, and Gargoyles. So grab some gummiberry juice, shout "Woo-oo" and prepare to get dangerous!
In keeping with the spirit of the Disney Afternoon, the entire crew of Geek Salad will be voiced by Jim Cummings.
(No, not really, but you get the idea)

Lately, Disney has been doing a lot of live-action (or CGI that looks like live-action) remakes of their past animated hits. Geek Salad has decided to get in on this lucrative action by coming up with some of their own ideas for live-action remakes in episode 222: "Is It Live... or Is It A Disney Remake?"
Join Andy, Mike, Joe, and Katherine as they discuss what Disney animated movies could (or could not) have potential to be the basis for a fairly decent live-action movie. Were the animated movies successes, or flops? Did anyone get convinced that the option might have potential? Listen and find out!

2021 was a pretty lousy year in general, but one very bright spot was that it gave us the first Marvel Cinematic Universe television shows on Disney+. Starting in January with WandaVision all the way to December with Hawkeye, we were shown five different series which further the ever growing MCU. So to kick off 2022, Geek Salad takes a moment to look back at these shows in episode "219: What If... It Wasn't Agatha All Along, Bro".
Join Andy, Mike, Joe, and Katherine as they discuss and rank WandaVision, Falcon & the Winter Soldier, Loki, What If...?, and Hawkeye. Which series ranked number one for each of the gang? And exactly how long do they spend looking at Magneto's various costumes over the years? (It's a very odd tangent, trust me)

Don't you love those Christmas TV specials that air every year that just fill you with the warmth and spirit of the holidays? Or maybe you've turned on one only to find it filling your soul with sadness and horror that such an abomination exists. To help you discern between the two, Geek Salad is here with episode 218: The Leprechaun's Christmas Grayskull.
Join Andy, Mike, Katherine, and Mike C as they count down the 6 best and 6 worst Christmas specials, one for each of the 12 days of Christmas... except there is only one day of Christmas... but... uhh... nevermind. My head hurts. Just know that everything from Eternia to Doctor Who all play their parts.

No, this isn't the first episode of Geek Salad, but it is time for the Geek Salad crew to have a discussion of some of their favorite debut albums. Many bands had some truly great albums, but how many hit those great ones right out of the gate? Geek Salad is here to give some examples in episode 215: Geek Salad I.
Join Andy, Mike G, Joe, Katherine, and Mike C as they go over some of their favorite origin albums. Will Andy bring up the Police? Will Mike bring up a country album? Will Katherine bring up Weird Al? Listen and find out! (Odds are fairly high).

The Geek Salad crew is once more joined by the always wonderful Em from the Verbal Diorama podcast as they discuss some of the movies of 1991 that didn't crack the top 15 at the box office in episode 213: No More Merciful Beheadings (Part 2).
Andy, Mike, Joe, Katherine, and Em chat about such excellent offerings like Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey and The Rocketeer, but also some lesser regarded titles like Hudson Hawk and Soapdish. Listen in and maybe you'll hear about a film that you might not have heard of before.
Check out Verbal Diorama wherever you get your podcasts (everything is available right at https://linktr.ee/verbaldiorama) and you can follow Em on Twitter @verbaldiorama!
