Get your tickets and Fast Passes ready, because the team at
Geek Salad is going to be taking you on a wild ride! Relive the fun, the laughs, and the motion
sickness when Andy, Mike, Joe, and Katherine discuss their favorite amusement
parks.
From the parks that the gang grew up around in New
England, to some of the most head scratching “amusement” parks
imaginable (Dollywood, I’m looking right in your general direction!) to the
House of Mouse, the Geeks have you covered!
(For the parents out there, we would like to point out that, while we are discussing a whole bunch of Family FunTime destinations, this show is definitely NOT for your kids!!!)

Think about it…there must be Higher Love…and you can get
that with Geek Salad Episode 124: Back
in the (Miller) High Life Again (feat. The Michelob Horns). In this extra, extra long installment, Andy,
Mike, Katherine, and the returning Jim, discuss the long list of Billboard
Number One hits of the year 1986. They
also find time to tear apart the video for Don Johnson’s “Heartbeat,” and
discuss their favorite albums released in ’86!
And what would a discussion that involves Huey Lewis be if it didn’t include
Jim making jokes about his schlong!

It’s dangerous to go alone….take this!!!
…and with those words, the children of the 80’s blew into
their golden cartridges, prayed that the included battery saved their game
data, and went on their quest to save the Princess Zelda.
Now, Mike, Andy, and Joe discuss the enduring legacy that is
the quest of Link in the Legend of Zelda games.
They discuss the triumphs, like the original game, Ocarina of Time, and
Twilight Princess, to the failures of Majoro’s Mask, Link’s Adventure, and the
CD-i games that were so awful, they were scrubbed from the Zelda continuity.
Then, hang out as the boys discuss the latest “Suicide
Squad” trailer.
Then, buckle in for the depressing third of the show, where
the gang discusses the recent deaths of Glen Frey, Alan Rickman, and David
Bowie…

Happy holidays to one and all from Geek Salad! And as an early Christmas gift, the crew is giving you Episode 122: Operation Chimney Sweep. Sit back and enjoy as Andy, Mike G, Joe, Katherine, and Autumn get ready for lots of coal in their stockings because this year, they're taking on the big man himself, Santa Claus!
They start their beef with the right jolly old elf for presents either not provided or grossly overrated, before moving onto dealing with some of the different incarnations of the fat man, both naughty and nice.

A long time ago in a Galaxy far, far away….
…actually, it was 1999, and Star Wars fans were handed the
start of a movie trilogy that would divide the fans and create fierce debate!
Now the team of Geek Salad, along with Andy’s cousin Anna, a
member of the Hasbro team bringing us some plastic awesomeness with the Force
Awakens toy line, is here to break down what went right and what went, well…no
so much…in Geek Salad Episode 118 (Part 1):
I Would Have Preferred Order 69!
Part 1 of the conversation includes talk about Episode
I: The Phantom Menace as well as their
social media feedback!
Part 2, which will be available next week, will include talk
about Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, as well as the Clone Wars
cartoons and a discussion about the new Force Awakens toys!

We're here to talk to you about the Avengers Initiative....
...and with those words, the Marvel Cinematic Universe
kicked into high gear! From the 2008
release of Iron Man, to last year's surprise hit Guardians of the Galaxy, the
MCU has been kicking butt throughout the movie industry.
...and now Geek Salad is here to rank them...
Thanks to our friends on Facebook, the team of Andy, Mike
G., Joe, and Katherine count down from 10 to 1 the favorite films in both Phase
1 and Phase 2, leading up to the May 1st release of Avengers: Age of
Ultron. Which movies will end up lower
than expected? Which movies got more
love than usual? And who will rank
supreme?
Then, stay tuned for a trio of Trailer Parks, where the team
discuss the latest trailers from Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Ant-Man.

Ahh, advertising, the pandering messages that help pay for your favorite shows. They try to prey on our emotions in all different manners, but now you have a defense against them thanks to Geek Salad episode 110: Cialis and the Dance of the Seven Boners. Join Andy, Mike, Joe, and Katherine as they try and make some sense out of everything from watery American beer to Hulk Hogan's (not George Foreman's) counter-top grill. Nothing will scare them off from their task... except maybe Quiznos' Spongmonkeys. What the hell are those things?!?
Afterwards, unwind and relax with some X-Men Stupid Stupid, then wrap things up in wonderfulness as James Bond returns to Trailer Park.

Ah, the music of 1985....where everything sounded like the
interim music of a high=end porno! And
now, the team at Geek Salad will review the number one hits, the cheesy
classics, as well as some of their favorite albums of the mid-point of the 80's
in a super-sized installment! Who scored
more number one hits that year, Madonna or Phil Collins? And did they all sound like they were in the
mood to make love?
Then, stick around for a two-fer on Trailer Park where the
gang discusses the teaser for "Fantastic Four" and the Super Bowl spot for "Ted 2." Then hear them discuss the Cure for Happiness
that was this year's crop of Super Bowl commercials!

Welcome to the crossroads to Christmas Past and Christmas
Present where the team at Geek Salad discusses the pop culture influences of
Christmases pre "A Christmas Story," and the influences of a world
after it's release in Episode 106: "Pottersville and The Spirit of
Christmas!"
Rejoice! Rejoice as
they discuss the differences the movies, television shows, music, and
advertising of the Yule Tide, bringing up some very interesting debates...and a
lot of mentions of The Muppets...
Then, stick around for a Trailer Park discussion about the
trailer for "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Unleashed," as well as
a "Stupid/Stupid" regarding some of the controversies surrounding the
trailer...

For 40 years now, people have been staying up late to watch and laugh (and occasionally dislike) Saturday Night Live. Well now relive some of the best... and worst of those years because "Live from Massachusetts, it's..." Geek Salad episode 105: The Not Ready for Prime-Time Podcast!
Join Andy, Mike C, Mike G, Joe, and newest member of the Geek Salad crew, Katherine, as they go through some of their favorite recurring characters, digital shorts, and come up with dream casts. However, this wouldn't be Geek Salad without also going through the worst of each of those as well. And finally, Marvel is the topic of both a "Stupid Stupid" as well as "Trailer Park".
