Episode 226 - Herogasm!
Monday Aug 22, 2022
Monday Aug 22, 2022
Today, the landscape of comic book movies seems to be dominated by DC or Marvel titles. However, that isn't entirely the case. There have been a number of films over the years based on comics not in either of those cinematic universes. To go over a number of them are the Geek Salad crew with episode 226: Herogasm!
Join Andy, Mike, Joe, and Katherine as they go over some of their favorite third-party comic book movies, least favorites, and even some that they had forgotten were based on comics. From The Addams Family to Scott Pilgrim vs the World to lesser efforts like The Phantom, they cover them all... except for the many that they forgot about.

Episode 224: We Don’t Talk About Quack Pack
Saturday Jun 18, 2022
Saturday Jun 18, 2022
In the 90s, Disney decided to make their mark on television by creating a 2-hour block of animated shows for kids to watch after they got home from school, and they called this the Disney Afternoon. Now, Geek Salad is going to look back on it with episode 224: "We Don't Talk About Quack Pack".
Join Andy, Mike, Joe, and Katherine as they go over the shows which made up this block of programming over the years, including such classics as DuckTales, Darkwing Duck, and Gargoyles. So grab some gummiberry juice, shout "Woo-oo" and prepare to get dangerous!
In keeping with the spirit of the Disney Afternoon, the entire crew of Geek Salad will be voiced by Jim Cummings.
